Happy Birthday Grandma!

I know Im a little late because her birthday was this past Saturday, but better late than never right?..Justin's Grandmother just had her 90th birthday on Saturday and I just wanted to dedicate this post to her.

She is the shortest, sweetest, funniest, loveable, most honest lady you will ever meet. I'm very blessed to have gained her as my grandma and be related to such a wonderful person.

We all had a great dinner with her on Saturday and in addition to the festivities, the whole family got up early sunday morning to go do yard work at her house. Unfortunately I didnt get any pictures of that, but it was quite hilarious seeing me get down and dirty and plant some flowers and small bushes for the first time! yeah, yeah I know I should know all of this stuff by now, but we live in a town house and hubby does all of our yard work!... oh well it was for a great cause and I had a lot of fun doing it!

The simplicities of life entails wonderful memories such as this one that we celebrated, a very Happy 90th Birthday with Grandma. This memorable event is a reflection for all of us to keep close to our hearts what is most meaningful , the gift of life. The gift of life is a blessing and so is sharing our lives with the ones we love.
