Or at least thats what Im hoping for! Last week we had great weather, but yesterday we woke up to snow on the ground!!!! yes, snow at the end of March!, crazy right? hopefully spring will show up, and stay.
Luckily I took some pictures of the kids playing outside when it was nice out
Kayla loves playing mommy
practicing his swings
Dylan was loving the weather
Kayla with her baby brother, doesn't she look ecstatic :)
Our little bundle finally made his debut March 5th, Weighting 9 lbs 6 oz 22in long!!!!!
I know Im almost a week late but we we have all been taken in by our beautiful new addition.
Well, for starters I felt like I was in labor for 3 days straight! It started Thursday night when I got up to go to the bathroom (for the hundredth time!) when I felt something running down my leg, so I immediately thought my water was leaking, since my water broke with my two other kids I figured this was it! excited and anxious to meet our little guy, Justin and I headed to the hospital while my mother in law came over to stay with the kids. I got to triage with some contractions and nothing else leaking out of me, so they checked me and my contractions were pretty regular, but they checked my "water" and apparently it wasn't the real thing!! I mean seriously you would think that by my third child I would know the difference between my water and pee!!!... anyway they checked my cervix again and since I was still 3cm they sent me home!!!! I was so upset over this FALSE ALARM not only because we were ready and excited but because we had woken my mother in law to come and stay with the kids and I had text my mom and my sister thinking I was going to have a baby!
Friday, I just took it easy and hung out at home for most of the day with Kayla and waited for Austin to get off school. My sister in law had offered to take the kids for the night just in case something happened or just for us to get some rest since we had been at the hospital the night before. Well nothing happened, but we did get a good nights rest. Saturday we woke up and ran some errands, then Justin and I went to lunch and thats when the contractions started coming very STRONG! I was timing them but they were irregular and even tough I was in pain I didnt want to call or go to the hospital because I was afraid of being sent home. Justin and I got home and I tried to relax and take a nap, but my cotractions were getting stronger and very painful! I finally called my doctor and she told me to rush in, when we got there, I felt like a crazy women because I was screaming from the horrific contraction pains! my doctor checked me and I was 7cm dilated! I pretty much had labored at home! I begged for the epidural and right after they finished given it to me, my doc checked me again and I was 10 cm and ready to push! I got to the hospital at 8:30pm ad had him at 10:37 and only pushed for 5 minutes!!! by far my fastest labor, and biggest baby!
He is just precious and we are all excited he is here and healthy!
I need to download pictures from my camera, but here are a couple from my phone
I'm 39 weeks today and still walking around with this watermelon inside! At first I was in no rush of having this baby earlier because of all the sickies in our house, but now that everyone is feeling better, and Im getting more uncomfortable by the minute he can come anytime now!!!
I went to the doctor on Tuesday and :drum roll please: I was 3cm dilated! this is a huge difference for me because with my other two kids I barely dilated at all and I just went into labor because my water broke. so Im surprised that my body has gotten this far a long! Cant wait to meet our lil man! we are all so anxious and excited!
Here is the 39 week belly. I'd like to think this will be my last belly pic!!!( I mean how much longer can I walk around with 3 cm dilation!)
